Title: PeerTrader joins the LendAcademy Forums!
Post by: PeerTrader on March 07, 2015, 11:00:00 PM
Hi everyone!

My name is Mike and I run PeerTrader. We're an investment automation platform for peer-to-peer lenders and we're very excited to be joining the LendAcademy Forums today. Some quick intro notes in case you haven't heard of us yet:

Our platform is still in "beta" but we recently opened user registrations to the public. You can check us out here: https://beta.peertrader.com/. While we're in beta, we are waiving our normal management fees.

I'll do my best to answer any questions posted here, but the fastest way to get in touch with us is by sending an email to [email protected].

Hope to see you on the site soon!

-Mike

Does PeerTrader mean to imply you may be an automated solution for my Folio struggles on LendingClub?

I added a few bucks to my Prosper account to try out your service with P2P Picks.  I selected auto-invest profit maximizer with $25/note.  After two days, here is what I have:

$100 invested - 3 B notes and 1 C note

A hit rate of 0.04%

Two notes where the listing was closed before my investment was placed.

Also, your dashboard shows that I invested twice in the same notes (attached), but your risk management feature seems to have blocked the 2nd investment and only $25 was invested.

The biggest surprise is the hit rate which you define as the number of notes that hit the platform that meet my criteria.  The 0.04% number seems very low.  Why is the hit rate so low for the p2p Pmax strategy?

Here's the definitive list of PMax Prosper for those dates.

4   2502640   2015-03-12 16:14:47   0.044717   B
5   2484823   2015-03-12 00:14:26   0.171243   B
6   2423102   2015-03-11 16:15:01   0.199079   C
7   2490535   2015-03-11 16:15:01   0.183213   B
8   2499388   2015-03-11 16:10:41   0.155203   B
9   2453737   2015-03-11 00:16:20   0.117025   B
10   2488894   2015-03-11 00:02:15   0.193332   E

If you want a faster deployment rate, perhaps PT might consider allowing a parameter to shift the buy line up and down.

Hi Yellowseed!

We're in the process of revamping the hit rate - the way we were defining it previously was a bit flawed.

As for listings closing prior to the order being placed, this does unfortunately happen on rare occasions, but we examine each instance carefully to see if there is anything we can do to improve execution speed.

The double-investing that you observed on your dashboard is a front-end glitch only - your account did not actually invest twice in any notes. We are working on fixing this bug right now. From your screenshot, you can ignore any of the "12:46" timestamps as they are false.

Thanks Bryce, Thanks PeerTrader.

With a hit rate that low, I am guessing PeerTrader is using the top 1% of P2P Maximizer picks.  I am going to have some awesome returns.  ;)

You can disregard the hit rate for now. Our integration with P2P-Picks does not involve any additional filtering layers at this time - if you activate the system, we will generate orders for any listings that are picked.
