Translation:  "We finally updated the scary and shady looking application form, made things look marginally better design-wise, hit save."

...

The "holistic" approach to <marketing, sales, etc> is my new favorite bullshit term, gaining in popularity.  Anyone who says this is guaranteed to be a fraud, whether they themselves realize it or not.

See:  "holistic medicine"

I noticed that yesterday, too, and pinged them about it. It was a one-time extra addition.

In online commerce a "funnel" has come to mean anywhere you direct a visitor through a series of steps. I don't think Google invented the term but they have certainly popularized it by the formal inclusion of funnels in Google Analytics.

AnilG, Peter or who ever,

Q1.  How many new loans hit the Prosper's "fractional" web page during a typical feeding periods at 9am and 5pm PT?

I think I have seen from 20 to 60?

Q2. Refining the question a little, how many hit on Sat and Sun when all loans are fractional and there is only one feeding time at noon PT?

And yet another question

Q3. Does anyone think these new "bonus feeding times" are here to stay?

TIA

Here's a view of fractional listings over time.    Until these past couple of days September was very low.  I'm guessing the spike is due to a large direct mail drop and the listing volume will trail off somewhat until the next one.

We may only see this bonus feeding time on these spikes (maybe it helps them operationally to get a jumpstart on the verification process as they are going from 1MM/day closed to 2MM/day closed).  I don't think these bonus feeding times help the retail investor, and I doubt there's a large effect on conversion rates.
