As long as LC has investors throwing money at them and not enough borrowers, you should expect interest rates on a risk-adjusted basis to continue decreasing.

The problem with a borrower bonus is most borrowers won't be repeat customers and thus it would be tough for LC to recover the bonus. Investors are quite different since most of us will be around for awhile making $1000s in loans on LC. It's just not compelling for LC to offer a borrower bonus.

Investors - LC / Did payments not post today?

I had a 5/26 note go IGP but everything else after that has posted fined so far. When do collection logs usually start on IGP notes? I don't see any collection notes yet and its 10 days late.

Great way to get audited by the IRS. That definitely qualifies as self-dealing.

I'm pretty lenient about spelling mistakes but holy cow, the borrower's egregious spelling errors would turn me off. I mean can someone like that really hold a job, especially at a police department? The borrower also mentions "building his business," which seems inconsistent with the rest of his story. Admittedly the borrower's numbers don't look too bad, although I almost never lend to people that have overdrawn their credit cards.

Also, I had a good laugh when I saw that his FICO trend was UP. The more time I spend with LC, the less I trust FICO scores.
