Moving Individual Notes Between Portfolios

Is there a way to move a single note from one portfolio to another on the LC website?  All I see is the ability to merge two portfolios.

Yes.

Just click on the 'Notes' link from within your account and check the box next to the note you wish to change portfolios, then click the blue 'Assign Notes to...' button and select the new portfolio the note should be placed into.
