Can you post a link with more info?

I'm curious if there's any speculation out there as to why they've ended the arrangement. The fact that they're selling off all of those assets leads me to believe that the program didn't perform as well as they thought it would.

Investors - LC / Updates to your Lending Club data

If I were to guess, I'd say they won't show the co-applicant's score to us because maybe they're allowing co-applicants to have a credit score lower than 660, or even no credit history at all

I would put money on the assumption that all other credit fields apply to the person who filled out the loan application. Perhaps they ask joint filers who is the "head of household," and it's this person who's credit data is listed.

One interesting thing is that both parties are on the hook for the loan, and even if one party dies the other party is still obligated to pay. Ceteris paribus, joint loans will likely be safer risks than individual loans.

I haven't received a similar email, yet I've been investing with LC for close to 6 months now. Do you think it was supposed to be sent out to all investors?

General P2P Lending Discussion / Bondora?
July 23, 2015, 11:00:00 PM
Has anyone checked out their data disclosure? They provide so much info about their borrowers that we don't get from Lending Club (I'm not experienced with Prosper). They even tell you the age and marital status. I also like the way they break out borrowers' income. Their data seems to be much more granular than what we have over here.

General Lending Club Discussion / LC for sale?

Goldman would make a lot of sense with the recent news that they're building a marketplace platform of their own. Why not jump start operations by buying the largest U.S. player?

But I think this would not bode well for retail investors. It's not hard for me to imagine that if acquired by a big bank, LC would switch to institutions and securitizations only.

I've been scouring all the U.S.-based lending websites I can find in search of an alternative to Lending Club and Prosper.

So far, every platform I've found will only cater to accredited investors and institutions. Are there really just two options in the U.S. for us small time retail folk?

I have noticed that with some of my loans as well, even with some loans are are already issued.

And today I  had a note payment on a newly issued loan that was 100% applied to principal with zero allocated towards interest, yet this was only the first payment for that loan. I figure I'll give it a day to see whether the interest allocation is corrected before I ask LC for an answer
