The Combined & Adjusted Net Annualized Return (ANAR) overall is 10.64%. I really wish LC can draw this chart with Combined ANAR which is more accurate return for accounts that have traded on FolioFn.
The green dot is the Combined ANAR of the portfolio using latest loan filtering method for past 1.5 years. Its Weighted Average Rate is 18.3%, and has similar loan compositions like the whole account. I am glad that my interest received is more than 3 times of loss from all non-performing loans.

No. It's play money. I am chasing the return. In mid 2014, I expanded into C grade for several months. But the default rate of this C group is the same like the D group, about 4% with avg loan age 11.2 months. Apparently, my filter worked best with loans of grade D.

I have over 1000 notes in account. I e-file totals (long term, short term) for items that LC reported to IRS, and input every item that were not reported to IRS by LC (i.e. the charge-offs). I did not mail the list for aggregated items though it would be better to do so.

Investors - LC / LC website problem or change?
January 24, 2015, 11:00:00 PM
Starting from about 2 days ago, the LC website response somehow strange. I often received a message like:
"We're Sorry
Our pipes are clogged right now. We have called the plumber and the problem will be fixed shortly
Thanks for your patience, we'll be back online soon.
"
And once after this happened, I could not even open "http://www.lendingclub.com" class="bbc_link" target="_blank">www.lendingclub.com" immediately at many times. I have to purge the IE history to open lendingclub.com again.

I am not sure if they are migrating their website or what's going on. It happens more often if I open two IE instance and both login the same account (Note: further tests revealed that it happened with one login too even though I browsed the LC website manually.). Anyone see this? (Are they trying to block abnormal and/or automated web browsing?)

Or, my IE went wrong? But why only with lendingclub website?

Thanks.

I sold several 31+late notes in last two weeks. Most of them  were sold soon after I marked price down to less than -90%. Could you provide an loan ID of what you are selling -90%? I may try to buy it to see if it will work. No more than $2 please.

Update: actually 60+PD for -90% discount.

The cash flow in the image is not complete for calculating XIRR for this period. You should assume the whole account will be withdrawed at the end. So, you should add 5000 into cashflow in 4/1/2014. This cash flow assumes that net gain ($166.79) was withdrawed in every month.
https://forum.lendacademy.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2Fzhl3O2q.png&hash=c7d499c145b546cb92e21ba2dbce80ac" alt="" class="bbc_img" />

I normally use a different approach. Treating the LC account as blackbox, the net cash flow would include only the following:
* Net account value at the beginning of the period
* Cash added to the LC account in the months within the period.
* Cash withdrawed from the account within the period
* The account's total net Deposit/WD in last month at the end of the period. (ignoring production from new money, and adding back withdrawals in the last month)

An example is given in the image: (Account total is col Y)
Formula for
          1st line: =-(Y13+Z13+AA13)    -- Except Deposit/WD, Y13, Z13, AA13 are as of END of September, 2013.
"Val of Bad..." is estimated loss from non-performing loans.
           other lines: =IF(W16=$X$9,Y16+Z16+AA16+AB16, IF(W16<$X$9, AB16,"")),
                                where $X$9 = 47

What's the average age of portfolio?

I could not figure out why browseNotes.csv was downloaded in 3 seconds in a few seconds ago then it took 20+ seconds to download the file. I monitored the Network connection activity. It seems like the speed for downloading browseNots.csv was capped at about 42kB/s at most times. The speed was above 500KB/s when I downloaded large files from other web sites for test immediately. Does Lending club have restriction on bandwidth of downloading?

Starting from the right of the attached screen shot, the first two spikes in network activities corresponds to downloads within 3 seconds. The third and flat shape shows that browseNotes.csv was downloaded at 42KB/s with total 20+ seconds being taken https://forum.lendacademy.com/Smileys/default/sad.gif" alt=":(" title="Sad" class="smiley" />

But the amount *withdrawed* is likely not equal to what will be redeposited back after the sale/purchase.

I just realized that I have a large amount of loans from CA, FL and NV. But the lose from these loans are average or better which might be because I use a little more restrict criteria to pick loans from these three states.

Investors - LC / Is it really worth .25?
January 25, 2014, 11:00:00 PM
Saw a bunch of issued notes being sold by 0% markup and a lot with below 1% markup a few minutes ago. Not sure about the quality of these loans. Might LendingClub do it to make Foliofn-only clients happy?

Investors - LC / Understanding Your Returns Page
January 14, 2014, 11:00:00 PM
I noticed that the dots dropped much more than it was several weeks ago when I compared the charts with and without Adjustment to return. Does it indicate that larger percentage of loans is deteriorating? My account have more bad loans in recent 2 months. Any guess about why?
