People actually filter out some sub grade sets?  Like others have pointed out with LC changing the grading, it would be of no use to do backtesting, correct?  A C3 note 2 years ago, could be considered a C1 or D1 note now?
Looking at my own backtesting with my filters, just do not see enough difference to actually kick out out a certain sub grade.  Maybe if there were more notes available, I could possibly consider something of this nature, as my D3 beats my D4 by almost .7 and just over a half percent on defaults.
I guess that since I am a small fish here, that with less filters, there may be bigger variances.

I would definitely use it at LC, as I do not use auto invest.  (yet???)  I also think that one or one that is inclusive with NSR would be fantastic, especially with the folio buyers/sellers.  folio how it is does not meet my filters, so use NSR.  Also see something like this leading to being made for other sites like Peercube and Lending Robot.
I think the sky is the limit on a project such as this morphing into a bigger project.  Good luck with it!!

Below are links that I found extremely useful.  I started out with 3k, and plan on investing up to 5k/year into LC putting in $400/month.  As I invest such a small amount, I can be really picky on what notes I go after and use extensive filters that I have backtested.  I do not use automated, as I had my filters incorrect on a 3rd party site, and am sitting on a number of notes that do not meet my filtering.  (yup, was very dumb of me).

Backtesting Personally I do not look at date before 2010, due to issues from the recession.  Just a personal preference is all.

Great starter reading.  #4 there is the backbone to my filters and do not waiver from it.

Basic simple strategy.  Their 5 filters there is what I started my initial backtesting.

This video series nicely breaks down many aspects, one of items I got into when trying to learn P2P investing.

Was curious about your loan and the lack of credit history, now it makes sense.

Ya, if I was dealing with the large quantity of notes that you are, my filters would have to change dramatically just to reduce cash lag.  Plus controlling that kind of cash flow, would be a must to auto select.
I am pretty excited though to see my first payment to be made on the 1st.  (Knock on wood).
I will check out BV though, in case I become I high roller.  https://forum.lendacademy.com/Smileys/default/tongue.gif" alt=":P" title="Tongue" class="smiley" />

80-20 for a 60-36 split.  Just not enough notes for 36 month hit my filtering, so will take the longer term and keep my fingers crossed.

Investors - LC / Credit Card / Debt Consolidation
March 10, 2016, 11:00:00 PM
On my back testing filtering, loan consolidation beats CC by .2% going back to 2011.  Not saying that anyone else filters will show the same, just saying mine does.  With my filter i use at LC to look through notes, I have both listed, and take both as long as they meet the rest of my criteria.  Guess my filter is probably too stringent, so have to stop someplace.

Investors - LC /
March 09, 2016, 11:00:00 PM
Made my deposit last Friday, was supposed to hit today, but alas tomorrow.  Hope this is not a reoccurring week long theme.  But under 900 loans on LC site, and only 8 falling into my filter, guess not a big deal anyway.  https://forum.lendacademy.com/Smileys/default/sad.gif" alt=":(" title="Sad" class="smiley" />
Will see if there is a large amount on Friday and Saturday like last week.

Investors - LC / Advice please
February 27, 2016, 11:00:00 PM
I have decided to take the plunge into LC this week.  I am a small fry compared to most I guess.  I am 45 and currently on disability, so fixed income.  Currently debt free, and own my own home which needs work.  Around 20k for 3 major projects.  These are not projects that need to be done right now.  While I scrape my pennies together, just looking for an avenue that will not pay me peanuts for interest.
Will start out with about 4k and pump in 300-400 monthly into my account.
I have done quite a large amount of research the past week into LC and strategies to try to maximize ROI.  As I feel I can handle greater risk, looking primarily at C,D,E,F and even G.  Have read a great deal and made filters at NSR.  Ya, got all nerdy and make some big spread sheets carefully to make sure that ROI returns were in decent enough sample sizes to be relevant.

I see a great deal of people using automated sites to snatch up new loans seconds into their listing.  Do you not worry that you will get a percentage of extremely questionable loans?  Like ones whose job title could not be accurate with their income?
Do you still purchase notes that are not snapped up so quickly?
Loan ID: 71757568 I assume that the 2 reasons it was not snatched up so quickly is the credit utilization, the 39 month delinquency and possibly the term?  Could you share a loan in your portfolio that was autopicked that has the same interest rate that is better quality?
Is the main reason people use automated system is to snatch up better quality notes?  Or is it due mainly to time?
I have not found articles that show statistical differences between automated and hand picked, can someone link that if they have it?
Can you tell me what percent on loans are snatched up in the first few seconds that loans are made available?
At LC I can not redline certain states, is this correct?  Nor can I choose using only 2 loan purposes at a time with hand picking notes?
Is it a steep learning curve dealing with folio notes?  Have not looked into that market yet.
I have been unsuccessful in finding a calculator that would spit out interest and principle monthly depending on how much I have invested with a sample ROI, can someone point me in that direction if there is one?  While putting back in X amount per month.

Sorry for the quite long post, and thanks for your reply in advance.

First off let me say, I have not invested a penny in LC, yet.  Wanted to get all down with my nerdy self before making any kind of investment.  So am reading about anything I can get my eyeballs on about it.
What I seem to be missing in this thread is if people are using the same filter for the 2 terms they are purchasing.  Have to use different filters for the 2 different terms.  Unless your OK with not maximizing potential earnings.  Guess do not want a program to invest my money in things such as the following.
With playing with a filter today it spat out a quite nice D1 note.  The person was pretty buried in CC debt, but his 15k/month salary would help out quite a bit.  But the odd thing was, he was a stagehand.  Top stagehands, according to Google, make around 50k.
Another one where the person was a vault custodian and was making oddles.
